Vacancy in LIC -Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) 

Introduction:Life Insurance corporation of India is one of the largest and trusted insurance company providing various services according to need of people. Here is current vacancy in LIC for post of AAO.

  

Applications are invited from Indian citizens through a notification issued by LIC to fill vacancies on posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO). These applications will be accepted from eligible candidates only for recruitment on various posts.

There are total 750 vacancies divided among reserved categories and unreserved categories. Out of 750 posts, 379 posts are available for general category candidates and other seats are reserved for SC (114 posts), ST (56 Posts), OBC (201 Posts) along with 12 posts for OH candidates and 11 posts for visually impaired.

These posts are regular and appointed candidates will be paid salary of pay scale 17240- 840(14) –29000– 910(4) –32640. After including allowances such as HRA, CCA etc, total emolument will be Rs. 33418 approx.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for these posts require minimum age of 21 years and should not exceed maximum age limit of 30 years as on 1 march 2013. Relaxation in maximum age to candidates of reserved category will be SC/St(5 years), OBC (3 Years), OH (10 years ). Educational Qualification

•Applicants should be a graduation/post graduation degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate to qualify minimum education qualification required for recruitment on post of AAO.

Selection process 

Selection of candidates will be made on basis of online test, interview and medical examination before recruitment. Online test will be held on 11th/ 12th May 2013 for objective type questions carrying 120 questions of 400 marks. Penalty for wrong answers of ¼ marks will be deducted from total marks of correct answers. Candidates require to score minimum marks to qualify for interview. Candidates who will qualify online test will be called for interview. LIC will send offer letter for interview in 1:3 ratio to candidates.

  

Candidates willing to apply for these posts should fill their application online only. LIC will not accept any application other than online mode. Applicants can fill application form from 5th March 2013.Candidates can fill online application till last date 1st April 2013. Application fess can be paid online using master card/ debit card or internet banking. After filling application online and uploading photo, signature, candidates willing to pay application fees online can do same. On successful online payment, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates need to take printout of e-receipt and preserve it for future use.

In case of offline payment, candidates need to fill online application form and take printout of system generated challan. This challan should be used for payment of application fees in  state bank of India branches across country. Offline fees can be deposited from 2nd working day after filling application form. Once the fees deposited, registration will complete. Call letter for online test will be available to download from first week of May 2013.
